Dispatches from the Circuitdelic Laboratory.

It begins innocently enough.
A child asks, “How does Santa deliver presents to every kid in one night?”
And in the adult scramble to preserve magic while sounding vaguely scientific, we blurt out:
“He can be in many places at once.”
But pause.
That’s not myth. That’s quantum mechanics.
That’s superposition.
The Claus Paradox
Schrödinger had his cat.
We’ve got Santa in a sleigh traveling at relativistic speeds, slipping between roof tiles and dimensional membranes.
Time dilates. Cookies vanish. Chimneys that don’t exist… somehow do.
The Claus Paradox isn’t a puzzle — it’s a koan.
It isn’t meant to be solved.
It’s meant to collapse your assumptions.
Like all good myths, Santa points to something deeper than fact:
He illustrates the way belief interacts with probability, how intention affects outcome, and how the observed and unobserved are two sides of the same snow-covered coin.
A Particle of Hope, A Wave of Joy
In the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics, a particle exists in all possible states until observed.
In the Santa interpretation, a gift exists in all possible stockings until 7:00 AM.
Only then does the waveform collapse, and the Barbie Dreamhouse or pack of socks manifest in one reality.
And like quantum entanglement, Santa is entangled with us all.
You write the letter.
You leave the milk.
You prepare the environment.
And in doing so, you become the channel through which the magic flows.
The Inner Santa
As McKenna might’ve said:
“We are not waiting for Santa Claus to show up — we are waiting for ourselves to realize we are Santa Claus.”
Superposition Man, a character in the Circuitdelic Laboratory Multiverse, isn’t just a superhero.
He’s a mirror — showing us how silly it is to assume presence must be singular, linear, or localized.
The child who believes, the parent who plays along, the stranger who gives anonymously…
They’re all Santa.
They’re all in superposition.
So next time someone asks how Santa does it,
you can smile and say:
“Oh, he’s just operating outside the bounds of classical space-time.
He’s entangled with the heart of every giving soul.
And like all great forces of nature…
He waits until you’re asleep to reveal himself.”
