Meaningful “Coincidences” for the Lab

Below are pairs of images that have something in common. They have a connection to an ancestor, place, art work I created or objects I found while walking. Some have striking similarity in their color and design but have no actual connection to each other.

Sometimes I create something and then find a physical object e.g. child’s toy which matches it. I started noticing these patterns in Thailand in 2025. Then they really started happening regularly. Originally, it freaked me out and I overreacted to these. Now I just accept them. I’m slowly adding captions. If captions are missing just study the left then right image closely, then look for similarities. Some are obvious, others subtle.

The objects and images related to my ancestors are the most fascinating. I had been drawn to walk Mt Adam’s. Specifically Hill and Celestial streets. I was also doing genealogy research for years, decades. Those collided below with art, genealogy, and found objects all converging. It’s been fun and curious though one cannot know what any of it means.

Albert Einstein said coincidences were gods way of staying anonymous. I love that. He also said he believed in the God of Spinoza who said mind and matter are one. I just wink and say, I see you. Carry on. Thanks!
