Music from Circuitdelic Sound System.

This piece emerged during a time of transition—between performance and persona, between rebellion and reflection. The voice track is lifted from the film The Limits of Control, by Jim Jarmusch, (he is a major influence on the Lab!), where a mysterious woman confronts a man with three questions:
“Do you like my raincoat?” “Do you like my ass?” And then, when denied weapon, phone, and intimacy: “No guns. No mobiles. No sex.”
I knew instantly—it was my line. Not just a line, a stance. A declaration.
It’s not about denial.
It’s about clarity.
No distractions. No devices. No delusions of dominance. Just presence.
The modern world is seduced by these three traps: violence, distraction, and desire masquerading as love.
This track is a refusal. A reclamation of focus. A clearing of static so the real signal can emerge.
It became a kind of mantra for me. A code. Not forever—but for the times I needed it.
For the moments when the world wanted everything from me—and I gave it silence instead.
