Dispatches from the Circuitdelic Laboratory
At the local triathlon, the soundtrack tells a story the announcers don’t even hear.
On one speaker:
🎵 “Baby, you’re a firework…” – Katy Perry
Pure pop alchemy—uplifting, bright, encoded in pastel frequencies.
On the next:
🎸 “All aboard! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…” – Ozzy Osbourne
Black Sabbath’s “Crazy Train”—chaos, distortion, the dark laugh of rebellion.
And yet, no conflict.
They play side by side, not canceling each other but amplifying the absurdity of the modern mix.
This is yin and yang at 130 decibels.
Light and shadow.
Corporate optimism and rock psychosis.
Dreams and delirium.
The signalist listens.
Not to judge—but to observe the harmonic friction of culture trying to inspire and unravel itself in the same breath.
Welcome to the triathlon!!
You’re gonna need both frequencies to finish the race.
