Dispatches from the Circuitdelic Laboratory
Captured during a quiet morning swim at the lovely Comfort Inn in Martinsburg, West Virginia, this entry continues the Shadows That Listen series with a meditation on water as both medium and metaphor. Through waves, ripples, and shifting reflections, the work explores how human presence is not fixed but radiates outward like a continuous waveform. Behavior, speech, and action become waves—subtle signals interacting with the environment, never isolated, always blending. The pool becomes a temporary stage for studying resonance, interaction, and the fluid nature of selfhood. Thanks to the wonderful people at the Inn who took time to speak with me.
